Two guys who like making things.
We are two friends starting 2 Outdoor Dudes. We make small fixed-blade knives by hand, along with the Kydex sheaths that go with them.
One of us builds this website and handles the marketing. The other handles the money side and the making. Together we do everything from shaping the blade to molding the sheath.
The sheath has a locking clip. It is built to hold the knife in place on your pants instead of sliding around.
We started 2 Outdoor Dudes because we like being outdoors and we like making things with our hands. A knife is one of the tools many people carry when they head outside, so it felt like a good thing to learn to make well.
We are still small. Every blade is shaped and finished by hand, and every sheath is molded to fit its knife. That means we know each one personally, and it also means we can only make so many at a time.
We would rather build a few knives we are proud of than a lot we are not. If you reserve one, thank you. We will tell you honestly when it is ready.
